Just a question have any of you guys have a tank crash or massive deaths before or do these things rarely happen.

They happen all the time. I hate to say this, but there are countless threads posted.

Is their any chemical that kills fish but corals are ok with

A disease took me out of the hobby before. But never again. I quarintine everything.

Did their bodies look any different? Hate to ask this.

It's fine to ask. The fish coloration changed and myou sailfin tank had a few scrape but that's all I could look at them until my dad picked them up.

Yes I quarintine they were less then 6 years old but they all died at once so it was not age

Anything else eat what they do? Heater age?

They eat a homemade mixture of mysis, pe calceus, pellet, flake, and rods food. Heaterso are few years old.
