I moved the frogspawn up a little to a area off the sandbed. whats crazy is did a water change saturday and have been dosing 2 part daily in small amounts to keep my alk up. my 2 part has magnesium in it.

My tester has been calibrated in the last 2 weeks. i dont know about the one at the fish store.
mag is a super important element for euphyllia. how big is the tank and how stocked is it? possibly just consuming it quickly? i have a 3g euphie dominant setup and i have to do almost 100% w/cs to maintain it often.
Thats the plan at this point. funny enough my acan looks amazing i gave him a pellet of this new brightwell foo and he started to develop some green orange and red rainbow rings but this hammer and frogspawn are killing me. Will prolly end up being another big lesson

This is a possibility the frogspawn when he shriveled up from the alk swing looked like one head was starting to become 2 but idk about the hammer maybe tho. the hammer from my knowledge accepted a piece of pellet food and kept it down.
I would slowly bring it up by 5% every week until blues hit around 75-85% I mostly run blues with no green or no red as those two are usually appealing to us. Corals take in the blue light much better then white in my experience. I also run mine at 90% blues and they’re growing really fast while keeping everything else is stable (cal,Alk and mag)
Unfortunately i cant control the blue spectrum i got a older light but i can almost guarantee that's not the problem because ive ran other tanks w the same color level im more worried about intensity and length
Chk and see if BRS did a test w that light. May help if I don’t have a par meter.
