Hammer is it to far GONE

I would blame that lemonpeel angel for the damage, they are serious corallivores and are not safe in any reef setup. The longnose butterfly is safe, they only pick between the rocks and branches, they don't eat coral themselves though.

very true, i did abserv longnose and his good my hawk is steppin on the corals like it's a carpet for him, how about the Wrasse do they eat corals? i haven't seen them do anything they are hungry all the time i try not to over feed my tank i feed them once a day with pc shrimp also give them a flacks and more

In pic 2 it appears there is a nice chunk of the right side cut off or missing. That area specifically appears to be turning to brown jelly and you can see the opposite side still has flesh. Whoever fragged this didn't give this piece a good chance by cutting through where the flesh would be and extend over..

i bought it from Aqua SD

Not sure of their DOA guarantee. Some places will extend out a week or so if something dies, if this one dies completely it might be worth reaching out to them.

Your melanarus is perfectly safe with corals, I wouldn't worry there. Do you have a picture of the other wrasse, or could you give me a description? That could help me ID it.

MP60 is potentially a lot of flow. Hammers don't really do well with high flow (really just need barely enough to make them move a little). Same with your Radion... that light can put out way more PAR than a hammer can deal with. Nitrate is a little low for LPS, but may be okay.

i have it set AB+

Maybe try the LPS setting as that is what a hammer coral is?

changing the lighting will only stress it further, not to mention it would stress everything else out in the tank. I say just let it wait, in a low flow area. If it dies, it dies, but if it lives you don't have to change your lighting again.

Been in the hobby ("reffing"?) for over 30 years... How long ago did you learn to read? Your photo clearly shows 2.53 PPM, not 25. If you're going to be belligerent then I won't waste my time with you any more.

Best of luck!

This looks like a wall hammer that was cut and then not healed properly. Then sold to you and it is dying.

Once wall euphyllia start to die there is unfortunately little to no hope.

I feel for you :(
