Hanna checker results?

Is there an issue with using the Hanna checker for ionic copper (Cupramine) vs chelated (like Copper Power)?

I'm not a fan of these "calibration" sets from Hannah.

Way more useful would be a standard solution to test, not just a cuvette that checks the operation of the device and ignores reagent issues.

Agree! Not to mention that for a lot of the checkers the optic device is not in the range we usually test for.

Guys what the heck I did it again it’s showing 2.17 now? I did the salifert kit and there’s no way it’s over 1.0

You have a problem of some kind. The water should be crystal clear in the cuvette. Did it look like that each time? What are you cleaning the cuvette with? With mine I can do the test 3 times and get results within 0.05 every time.

Also, after C2 are you holding down the button for the 45 second count down or just pushing it?

Yeah I’m pretty sure it’s the reagent because it’s always cloudy even after a minute. Yes I hold it down until it does the countdown for 45 seconds
