Hanna tester vials

Has anyone noticed that the white lines aren't always at 10cc? I use a pipette to measure the 10ml and on many of my vials the water level ends up above the white line. Some of the vials are OK.

You need to use the same vials for the same test. If you use one for alk and the phospates, it will be off.

I think “might be off” if you switch vials is closer to what @Rick Mathew was getting at. Following his points to the letter will reduce the risk of testing errors to vanishingly to smallI number. There is some wiggle room though.

I have found the optical glass used in Hanna Checkers to be amazing consistent. I have 3 dozen vials that are interchangeable as far as I can tell, i.e, all read zero versus each other when filled with RODI.
