My significant other and I went to do a little shopping the other day, then went to a friends for dinner had a great time. We had been gone about 6 hours we started back home, that’s when I had the oh-**** moment. As in “Oh-****, I left the RODI making water on the third floor”. Then, of course, we got stuck in a traffic jam. So for about another hour I was sitting in the car imagining the worst. I was pretty sad thinking about all the damage that was probably happening to the newly remodeled bedroom below it.
Finally, got home ran upstairs and I had in fact left it running and it had run over on to the floor. There was about 2.5 inches of water standing in the room my equipment is in. Luckily though I had built a little baseboard edge and painted that and the sub-floor with Red Guard, my thought at the time was that it was just to give me a little more time to clean up spills. I was very happy when I discovered the Red Guard had held and as far as I can tell not a drop of water went anywhere else. Very happy when my significant other started speaking to me again.
