Please forgive me and don’t yell at me but my saddest moment was yesterday while be in a hurry I glued the coral and not the rock it was attached too. Didn’t realize until two hours later. Poor guy is trying to recover

Yup... I feel the saddest moment xD... lol... My tank is small right now, but the bill did have a small increase... If I'll get a big tank, I'll make sure I know how to get free energy

Saddest and happiest in one coral with 9 lives, my Pink Monti!
On more than one occasion I have done something or another to cause this poor Montipora a lot of hurt. I have watched, several times as this coral bleaches it's way into oblivion. Then, by some stroke of luck and several weeks later the little son of a gun starts to grow out again. Darndest thing ever. So I have since renamed it, 9 Lives Monti.

Happiest day of my hobbyist life. Getting Calypso (my Blueface Angel) well after nursing her in a bucket for 6 weeks (with daily complete water changes) to clear her of a nasty eye infection that was blinding angels during this period.

Saddest day of my hobbyist life was burrying her 13 years later after SERVPRO nuked my house with an anti mold spray after a pipe busted in our wall (I had broken my toe schleping furniture out of the affected room, and was out of pocket).

I buried many friends that day.

It truly was the worst day of my life.

I’m having a hard time holding it together just thinking about it.

SADDEST....losing a fish ( hasn't happened for over 18mn now..thank god )
HAPPIEST...6.30pm every evening..all the whites are zero and the blues are running at 100%. Tank looks stunning.

Scariest yet funny (now) was at the last home I owned my QT was in a breezeway next to my bedroom upstairs. I had a 3 inch Splendid Fairy Wrasse in my 75g QT and was getting ready to move it downstairs to my 300g DT.

I removed my 4 screen tops from my 8' 300g, went up and removed my screen top from my 75g QT for the transfer. I attempted to retrieve it with a collection cup when it jumped high and down around 15 feet and landed right in the 300g DT as if nothing happened.

I ran down the steps and put the screen tops in place. Frightened me to death almost.

Saddest coming home and finding my tank wiped out because the guy next door had fumigated his garden without telling us to close the windows,the wind blew the poison right in killing everything including my wifes parrots.
happiest restarting my tank and seeing it growing.

Happiest is whenever I find the first spawn of one of my clownfish pairs.

Saddest is very hard to think about. We had several batches of fry and a couple of future breeding pairs on a system and we went to Florida for a few days. The fry were large enough they could be fed small TDO pellets. We got a few Eheim feeders but unfortunately they didn't get there until right before we left. I set them up quickly and thought we were good to go. We had a great trip but when we returned my son ran down to check on the clownfish and all of them on that system were dead. Probably 200 fry. I will never forget how devastated he was. We all were.

Fry are hard to raise... Had that happen too. lost about 10 mandarin goby fry... It took the mated pair FOREVER to get along (lots of fights and time-outs) and they finally made up their mind. Once i got the eggs... I put them in a separate tank... only to find out next morning that there was a leak, and all of it drained over the night... drying up the eggs and killing them...
