Hard lesson learned on christmas day

What caused that fish to get sick that quick overnight? What did the scooter bring in the tank for that to happen

Based on what i've read it could have been any one of the fish i brought into the tank, and something stressed them to cause their immune system to dip allowing the Ich to take hold and flourish, and without having quarantined them as i brought them into the tank i won't know, only speculation from here.

Had similar problem..... Fed generously both garlic infused pellets and large amounts of nori . Both my powder and hippo and chevron have beat it. So good luck

You can buy bacteria in a bottle to seed ur qt tank, so maybe u only have a small cycle. Hope that helps
