There has got to be someone out there that have unlocked the secret of the Charm de Cherries. Mine are still classic brown and gold... under RB LED they look great.

I had these for a good while and mine were full of color! they were near the bottom in my 24 gallon biocube and in a lower flow area.

but other than that i have no clue what I did

ahhahaha... I love candid responses. I have seen some pictures that rock my mind with these guys and under the royal blues I can tell that they have potential but it's been months and still nothing!

They're not bad looking zoanthids and I think mine look better than buttholes (well, depending on the butthole...), but this is one of those that the sellers have misrepresented with inaccurate photos IMO. Blast them with blue light and a ton of light and they look pretty nice though nothing like zoaid and some seller's pics, don't and they're pretty ordinary. Lastly, in my colony there's some variance in the way each polyps looks and some certainly look better than others.

Just take a look at color of the backgrounds and coralline color in some of the photos that have them looking super colorful...

heres mine..they are fat,,when they shrink or i touch them they color up way better

Bboley, Your cherry charms are reaching up for the light. Look at the length of the stalks. Give 'em more light, they will get shorter and their colors will become more "compact". (Like when you take a large blurry picture and shrink it then it is not blurry anymore.)

and heres pink and golds that i dont know why they are not gold...they almost look alike pink and gold and cherry charms

i have mine middle in tank...i wish i can put them higher up but they already encrusted...i might frag off a few polyps and put really high,i keep telling this to myself but i get lazy....i think cherry charms aare same as pink and golds,,,they demand a lot of light to get best color

I had a single polyp of CC and it was all out brown. It was tiny and melted on me. I also have the Pink N Gold's and they look exactly like the pictures posted above.

I'm going to vouch and say all those pics are pink and golds, none being actual cherry charms.

Here is a link to what cherry charms look like.

They don't have quite the dark speckled face as the P&Gs do. They also don't grow rapid in my experience like the sometimes invasive P&Gs.

Hate to be a downer but I think they might be pinks and golds:(. Check zoaid and see if they look more like that.

I think cherry charms, pink and golds, fairy dust and a dozen other stupid names are all the same polyp. Find me a single pic of cherry charms that doesn't look doctored and is more than a polyp or two. If anyone can find me a colony pic with realistic lighting and white balance that looks anything like the vendor/zoaid pics I'll eat my words...
