Has anyone figured out Cherry Charms???

The OP looks like he has pink and golds, where did you get yours from? I have both CC and pink and golds. Pink and Golds look nice under actinics, but thats it. Cherry Charms look amazing under high lighting and flow, theres a huge difference between the two, they get bright yellow/gold with bright pink skirts. Always ask where the corals came from because a lot of people are slapping on names to make a buck.

I second Ike... most of them all look doctored. Im not saying that mine are authentic from jimmerjammer of jimmerjammerbammer.com corals but ive searched high and low and most of the pictures are like mine or are out of control colorful.

Hate to be a downer but I think they might be pinks and golds:(. Check zoaid and see if they look more like that.
Mine are real deal and look identical to these. I sold some polyps and see them in other people's tanks and they look like they are suppose to. I think halides or vho with tons of light is the key to them

Mine look like the "fancy" pictures I have seen, they did great in my sps tank right under my lights, getting lots of food/light/flow. They had an intense gold/yellow center with bright pink skirt just like in the pictures. If youre having trouble with color try moving them up gradually. I have moved my pink and golds around in several of my tanks with different lighting flow etc and they are always kind of brown, they do look nice under blue leds, but the CC under high lighting are beautiful and worth the price.

I have a small colony that looks similar and am wondering if they are the same as the pink and golds. they're more of a copper and brown IMO, but they seem real happy where they're at.

Wow... those really do look alike. I think ill give my polyps a week or so and repost some pics of their new coloration. My guess is that theyll be similar to yours danimall

mine are greedy eaters. They'll take full mysis and brine shrimp like its the last supper. They expand more the next day after eating as well. I can't say for certain that feeding them has caused growth, but I've gotten several new heads in the month and a half I've had them.

Unlocking cherry charm

Well i have got some under metal halide give them more light, but do it gradually and feed them!

In my experience if you bake them with high light and the polyps are mature they look just as represented originally.

Kinda following along here, not sure if these are the same as the ones you guys are talking about but I bought these as "pandora's" about four months ago.

And yes, my picture skills are not the best, but I'm getting better lol ;)

Those do look like Tue same colors as mine, but yours are stretching for light.

nope not the same but another great example of a doo doo coral that with LEDs could look halfway decent

The secret IMO is the light mine are nice gold and pink rims. I run all leds 2xDIY cree fixtures and one china made black box unit i use just for blues.
cherry charms , pink golds ect ect all the same thing IMO
Besides the reefarmers CC photo i have never seen really other photos looking as good as those .

High light next to my SPS notice they are more solid gold:

These are off to the side in indirect light a little darker:

The place I got them from has or had more and some under much higher light. Next time I'm out that way I'll check to see what he has. There were some super nice ones of the same colony that were kept under intense light unlike the one I picked up from the lower light tank (as they were closer to my lighting, made sense to me) Zoas Zoas Zoas all day I dream about Zoas lol
