I'm in process of draining my 150. It's sold. Go back to work Monday so I need this stuff done. Late night special! Tomorrow new tank comes in where old tank was.

Excellent! You're just moving right along :) I really wish mine was ready to fill but still need more cure time on my rock overflows and return.

Well I have to test tomorrow afternoon outside. Pray my seal job is good. Which I feel good about it. Than I'll be putting saltwater in the tank just to get it out of our kitchen in totes. Before I get killed. Lol. Not sure if my sump will be completed fully. But it will be close by tomorrow night. Right now I just have 2 boxes that are 24 X 15 x 15. Still need to put in some dividers. And whatever else.

I'll be getting my scape and sand in it after. Wish I had more time I just don't.

Today's progress. Tank filling just need to water test and do some plumbing. Drill a couple bulkheads in 2 piece sump. We close. Salt Water probably Tues or Wed.

Purchased a second bulkhead and broke that. Idk I must be super strong. I think I'm over tightening from the start so there leaking cause I keep tightening and snap. Split in half. Np wrenches. Just hand force.

It's the 3/4" bulkheads that I'm tearing up. I'll try new ones again tomorrow and I'll be really nice to them!

Looks like maybe they are being over tightened. Only hand tighten them, no force- bully lol.

All kidding aside, are those original bulkheads? Maybe they're old and brittle. Have you tried replacing them?

Both. There hard to reach. It's just the 3/4" ones for the returns that are kicking my butt. Idk I gotta find my channel locks they need to be just a tad tighter.

The 1" drains I got in there good hand tight and there working awsome. Had to work and I'm frustrated so I'll mess with it tonight when I get home.
