You do have the rubber gasket on the inside of the tank? When I did the water test on my 180 I put 4- 3/4" bulkheads in. Tightened untill just snug by hand. Put 3/4" pvc in them (no glue at all) filled the tank and no leaks at all in the 3 weeks it sat filled up.

Yah there in there. It's just up in a funky spot and there real hard to reach. I'll win this battle though. I never lose. Everything else has gone to easy something had to mess with me! Lol.

So I came home and tore this bulkhead out. Guess the old thing was not as strong as my hands! I did go today and pick up my "seed" rock. Nice purple stuff. So off to find another bulkhead in the morning. As you can see this one split in a different location than the other one! Ugh oh well.

Got a new one's from Blaine ' s farm and fleet. Different style seem to be a heavier duty bulkhead. Cheaper than at the lfs also. Lol. It's fired up. Half my scape is done I'm out of rock and money for a few days so it's gonna chill like this.

Gonna be a bit dark on the sides cause I only have a 3' light but it gives me space to add low light stuff.

So I didn't put a bubble trap in this sump because I didn't see any micro bubbles in my last tank. Doh I need a bubble trap. Hmmm. Projects projects projects. That will be easy peasy though.

So I guess I'll run a filter sock and the skimmer until morning Than get some food in there to spike ammonia. Idk how much light to throw at it... dark? Fuge light? Couple hours of each or what... Hmmm research.

I'll shut the skimmer off and pull the sock in the morning. I guess. Just wanna clean up the junk from adding the sand.

I would say lights on and off as you would if it wet complted. Fuge at night and dt during the day.

Its looking nice man, Im about to set up a 55 with a 20g long sump. It will be my first time messing around with a sump so it should be interesting.

Okay so let's stock this thing! Throw some coral combinations at me! Tank is going to probably get one more nice big rock formation on the right side but for now let's idea this thing. The sides have less light and flow.
