I picked up a jebao wp25 for my 75g I am setting up and whoah it has some power I have it on the lowest setting and its still pumping allot of water.

Only problem is the flow is really directional. Hard to get it adjusted to not move sand.

definitely I am trying to finalize my scape and then I will worry about the flow and fine tune but it definitely is a focused flow.

All my fish are in parameters are looking good still. Trates are a bit high maybe 20 ppm ish. Debating getting my coral shipped. Getting some brown algae growing in some spots Idk what it is. I'm sure it's just new tank growth and will subside in time. Need to get some more cuc in there soon.

The brown is diatoms. Yes they will go away. It means your tank is near the end of cycling.

Awesome. I go to work and the air quits. It's 85 in the house tanks up to 81 in an hour. Hopefully bags of ice in the sump will work until the air is fixed. **** Idk. Just my luck.

Did you seed it with love rock I did with mine and my tank is covered with diatom and its only been cycling for 4 days

Airs back on was just the fan switch. Happy about that. Uh no I got 20 lbs of that 7 dollar a pound really purple encrusted stuff from the lfs. Hoping that the tank would purple up fast this way. I got my diatom bloom in the first week also. This stuff is like a greenish yellow algae. It's not diatoms they came and have gone already.

Hmmm, I've had it go green for sure but not greenish yellow. But it may simply be getting ready to grow into coraline spots. Your lighting might be causing the yellow hue look also. LEDs are funny that way! Looks like I'll be setting up my 180 this weekend (finally, lol).

Went and grabbed some more cuc today. Make sure no algae gets crazy. Also grabbed some iodine supplement. Try to keep my macro algae happy and I'm reading Z's n P's like it. Gonna have my Your Reef order that I couldn't resist a couple weeks ago shipped in on Friday pretty much go time! Lol. Excited!

Well I'm gonna add another fishy sunday. Local reefer is selling off his livestock. So I grabbed a tomi tang from him.

I wouldn't be too worried about that little bit of algae popping up. As long as your phosphates stay low you shouldn't have any issues.

I love those Tomini Tangs! One of the more peaceful Tangs out there, relatively speaking.

Yah it's diatoms mostly. My cuc is getting to it and some neon green coralline algae is starting to grow on spots. I'm glad to see its nothing odd. Lol
