HELLO and here's my RedSea Reefer 250 System

Just realized that I never officially did a Hello thread even though I have joined R2R for a while. So hello all! I have been in the hobby for almost 3 years. I started out with Reefer 250 that I purchased used from a LFS. I built a mixed reef system with euphyllia and goni covering sand bed and mostly acro on upper half of the tank. Goni’s are beautiful! What do you do to keep them happy and not go into sulking mode?

thanks...glad you like my goni garden. I gave them low to medium flow and 50~100 par. I do need to move them around until they find their fav spot otherwise they won't fully open. I broadcast feed Reefer Energy AB+ once a week and dose CoralAmino daily and I keep my Mag high 1450~1500. Once they settle in they can grow really fast

This guy is by far my favourite. My LFS got in some rainbows and are selling them for a reasonable price so I may grab some soon.

thats the glitter bomb goni I got from @AquaSD 2 years back. It grew from a frag size to 4~5" colony when fully open

I’m getting jealous of the gonis now haha.
Possibly going to try one once I manage SPS growing in my 4’ tank!

Wow what a spectacular tank as well as the pictures of your inhabitants. I target feed Reef Energy AB+ as well but i do it everyother day. Do you think the CoralAmino is more of difference maker than the AB+?

thanks. CoralAmino will stimulate coral grow and color thats why I chose to dose daily. I used to dose AB+ 2-3 times per week but it raised nutrient level so now I only dose 5ml in the weekend.
