Hello everybody

Will setup a build thread over the weekend. I’m aiming to go with minimal or no water changes. I’m a research scientist so i am hoping to be able to manage this. I am hoping my background in biology and science will help Fingers crossed
I hear you. Water changes have my nemesis in these later years. I did the no water change method for almost a year with only two done in that time period only as things appeared worse for the wear. The water changes always seemed to alleviate issues that failed to be properly diagnosed. With that, I just bit the bullet and set up the Neptune DOS to perform water changes for me nightly. I can say that I do not regret it at all. You can always set up for no to minimal water changes but you have to decide if the generally more complex method to make it successful is really worth it in the long run. For me, the DOS was the lazy route. I have free NSW available so it was, in the end, a no brainer for me. I still hate collecting it though.

Welcome!

Are you buying equip now before the 31st, or waiting for the "special trade relationship?" That's right, #Brexit on R2R. U can't escape it... Lol.

The worst thing is that the shop I used most when I had my previous tank was in Dublin. Don’t know how much extra hassle it will be to use them after Brexit. Just wish they would decide if we are leaving or not and sort out some sort of plan.
