Hello from Los Angeles, 400g Reef

I don't have that many pictures to show. All the equipment is built in to counters outside on my patio. And the geothermal system is just a great big water tank buried underground. At the moment there are only a few corals in the outside frag tank so nothing to really show off. I do have a live webcam on the tank which is open to the public. o2manyfish's Live & Controllable Webcam - Enjoy. That is my Canon webcam. I also am testing a new Axis 214 webcam which is also PTZ with 54x zoom and automatic white balance - Which you can see at 74.62.193.110 --- Lights are on from 5pm to midnight Pacific time.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys.

My tang collection includes 9 yellow tangs, 1 purple tang, 2 blue tangs, 1 achilles tang (ich free) and 1 mimic tang.

Other fish include pair of mature Belus Angels, 1 tiny 1" Female Belus Angel, Pair of Golden Angels, Goldflake Angel, Pair of Blue Velvet Wrasses, Yellow Coris Wrasse, Trio of Female Lubbock's Wrasse, 4 percula clowns, 2 black percula clowns, Pair of Frimandi, Pair of Springeri, Strawberry Pseudo, Skunk Pseudo, Bicolor Pseudo, Pair of Royal Grammas, Pair of Firefish, Pair of Tailspot Blennies, Bicolor Blenny, Lawnmower Blenny, 2 blue damsels, 2 stegassi damsels, 6 kupang damsels, 2 yellow chromis, a purple /yellow damsel, 2 blue coral chromis, 6 Bangai cardinals, pair of Green Mandarins, a target mandarin and a pair of Dragon faced Pipefish.

The fish seem to enjoy the surge. In the past I have kept numerous pipefish in the tank as well as seahorses and even the seahorses would come out to ride the surge wave.
wOw!! what a fish list. I'll be following along. 1smile1

Think we need an updated vid.. when yah get a chance. ;)

Pls give some time on the vid to your multi color angel and Starcki damsels. :)

I got myself a Canon 60D as an early Hanukah list, with a Sigma 105mm macro lens. So I have been playing with some close up shots the past couple of weeks.

I shot one video, but the camera doesn't stay in focus once I start recording video. I need to sort that out. I'm off to Vegas for the weekend, and am taking the camera manual to try to figure out what I am doing wrong.

Perhaps some new video next week

thanks again and I'm looking forward to seeing some vids. :)
