Have you considered starting your build thread? I found its a great place to document my tank's evolution for myself. I started tank first then joined, so I'm still finding myself going back collecting pictures & updating historically as well as current state. Once you create your first post in your thread and link it to your account, they will give you build badge (look left, under my ID)

Yes I am often at Neptune buying gear or accessories only. I have been buying my livestock from Violet Sea Aquarium in Santa Clara. I saw a blue hippo tang at Neptune covered in ich and decided that was reason enough not to buy livestock from them. Great place otherwise, they have knowledgeable staff and beautiful tanks at that store.I’m in San Jose too! Nice to meet you! Do you ever go to Neptune Aquatics? I swear I’m there once a week
