I would love to do parks & falls & would love a lodge over looking a lake within canada

That would be great indeed but to do so and visit the Parks etc ... you would need a few weeks as there are so many here in the US alone, and then if you want to add Canada .. well that is going to be a real nice long vacation indeed :-)
Best wishes to you and your Family for the Holidays

:>) or me? Albert your forgetting your from Belgium I'm the one from the UK.

BTW. I am from Liverpool and we have our own distinct accent. Remember the Beatles from Liverpool, well my accent is very similar to them.

almost 30 years ago I moved from Liverpool to a place 15 miles away as I got a new job in a place called Bolton. When I first arrived my accent was so strong I often had to repeat myself and talk slower. Over the years my accent has watered down so its not so strong as it used to be now I don't have to keep repeating myself.

Here's a pic of my 2' cube tank set up 2 months ago, it replaces a 94L River and Reef. will have to take a few more as the blue shows far stronger than it actually shows in the pic.

Yes indeed ... sorry thought it was for me but I guess not ... and on the accent .. been there done that. When I came to the US had the same problem as my accent then was far more British than it is now ... Must be americanized Belgium English now I guess :-) Good to see you are back on R2R ! Oh and we figured out what that typo was, a missing letter s at the end of the article on the Acanthophyllia, I'll have to check it in the article section here as I posted it there yesterday.

Your BB tank IS looking good btw .. and Mr. Midas had to be in the pic I guess, thinking that when you got near food was coming. My Banggai does that too :-)

And as they say over there: have a great day "mate" or do they not use that "mate" expression anymore ?

Is it me, or does the tank look a bit cloudy ? or maybe it is how the pic was taken ... could be that too .. not sure but there seems to be a haze to it

Yep your right its does, thats what you get when you have not cleaned the glass for a few days before taking the pic DOH! The camera seems to pick up a slight algae or diatom cover on the glass better than the eye. The pic was taken not long after the tank was set up as I now have a layer of sand on the bottom but I will take a few pic's after work later today and post them. I will also reduce the blue lights and try and get a more balanced look to the pic's. Watch this space.

Will do ... and yes that makes sense .. good cameras will pick that up. Note that in my case :-) using an Oxydator I do not have to clean the glass all that often, and when I do it is mostly to get rid of coralline algae. Those algae you refer to used to be on my front glass every day but now with the Oxydator maybe only every 5 or 6 days ...

BTW need to get it out of the tank this morning and refill it as it is just about empty. Still using 3 % but planning on switching to 6% in the near future. Have a great day and yes do post some Pics ...

Tank pic's under different lighting conditions

Right as promised I have just taken 4 photographs of my tank each one with various lighting. All are taken with LED's however I have 1 x 120watt Chinese LED unit with both blues and whites. 1 TMC Aaquaray reef blue LED strip and 1 TMCc Aaquaray Fiji blue LED strip. With all lights on the camera shows the tank with a strong blue cast which is not the case when viewed at the tank in real life. The following photographs were taken with various LED's switch off apart from the all white LED's which were left on for them all. See what you think but do bear in mind what I have said about the tank not looking as blue with the blue cast showing esp on the first photograph.

FIRST PIC WITH ALL LED'S ON.

SECOND PIC WITH JUST THE WHITE LED'S ON.

THIRD PIC WITH ALL WHITES AND ALL BLUES ON WITH THE AQUARAYS OFF.

CAN'T RECALL WHAT LIGHTS I HAD ON FOR THE NEXT TWO PIC'S LOL.

AHHHHHHH! British people kill me with there accents! Honestly when I heard a British accent I cant stop smiling! More recently I have talked to a few British people at Macna and other places, I either didnt pay attention to what the were saying because I was so fasinated with there accents or I just had to walk away because I could'nt contain my excitment! If I ever run into a British accent even if it just in a movie I CANT STOP SMILING!!! And then sometimes I walk around faking an accent! Its all so true when I was on vacation me and my friend faked accents the whole time! AND PEOPLE BELIEVED US!!!! They kept asking where we were from and we just kept saying Doncaster in Yorkshire, England! But they most likely figured we were not British when they heard my and my friend screaming ya'll and dang gum it from two different sides of the condo! LOL!
