Welcome! Glad you joined. Light is 'food' for anemone, and like early posts mention they do need more stable water parameters than fish. Glad anemone hosting clown worked out and hoping all goes well long term, too.

Have you considered starting your build thread? I found its a great place to document my tank's evolution for myself. I started tank first then joined, so I'm still finding myself going back collecting pictures & updating historically as well as current state. Once you create your first post in your thread and link it to your account, they will give you build badge (look left, under my ID)

Thank you for your input and links. I wasn’t planning on getting the anemone it just came with the rock I bought. The light it was under at petco was no better than what I’m using. I actually had to turn the white light down the first few days. I’m definitely upgrading and going to use this mini for a isolation tank. I’m very happy with everyone’s input and thoughts and I know I’m taking a risk here. One plus’s though being a new tank I’m not hitting it with 100 par and spawning algae lol. I will definitely start a build thread that sounds great. I also encourage no one to do as I have done. To be honest I’m enjoying the challenge though.
