Help - blue hep tang looks sick again

I sure am glad I asked. I know the ich is knocked out as it was visible prior to copper. If I had flukes, the prazi should have taken care of that but i dont think i even had any to start with. If i had velvet, i would know by now as i havent added anything new in 8 months and everyone isnt dead. So there are likely no hidden diseases. Good news.

I do think I have a bacterial infection on a couple fish though. One of my anthias has a foggy eye and purple tang has a white hairy patch on tail. Ill scoop them up and treat them when I get off the road for work. Thanks! Sorry to the OP for hijacking your thread today. Ill start another if I have more questions.

Hi all - I wanted to report back on the blue hep. It's been 10 days & he appears to be doing much better. He's eating but still a little reclusive so tough to get a pic.

Overmedication diagnosis from Humblefish & 4Ford appears to be spot on. Thanks again for all the help!

OP on this thread. Long story for this blue surgeon but he's been through TTT, copper & number of other meds in last 60+ days (pics at start of thread). The consensus last month seemed to be get him into new Med free qt & monitor which I did & he looked a lot better.

10 days ago noticed something major going on behind his eye. Not sure what it is. I ran him through a week of Seachem Metroplex & NeoPlex & didn't seem to change trouble spot - it looks the same. He doesn't seem bothered by it - been eating great and no weird behavior/symptoms.

My fallow DT is finally going to be ready (80 days to make sure) late next week.
Thoughts?

Ok so no issue putting him in DT when time is right with understanding he may never heal. I'll continue to soak all foods in selcon.

I agree, that looks like a nasty HLLE spot to me as well. A good, nutritious diet rich in nori and vitamins over time (with clean water) should clear that right up! (Some scarring may remain but it'll look a lot better).

Actually putting him in the DT should help heal the HLLE.
