HELP, fish dropping like flies

Everything I'm reading matches up:/ I see fresh-dip and buying the quick quarantine stuff which I can do today but unfortunately there's no way for me to get a second tank other than that 10:/ the wrasse looks like he has powder all over him Hensel why I thought ich.

O.K.,, with this video, I'm inclined to drop the velvet diagnosis and say this is more likely either Neobenedenia flukes or late stage marine ich. Hyposalinity in a separate tank will treat both of those issues at once, so that would be the treatment of choice. Your logistics may not allow you to do that, if you can't pull all of the fish, your only real choice is to dose the tank with prazipro 3x, 8 days apart with good aeration. HOWEVER, that will only work if the issue is indeed Neobenedenia. If this is ich, the fish will continue to die.

Dr.reef quarantined did 99% my fish
I know people pay extra for this service but then the fish still get stressed out from another shipping process.
I think people in general need to know that you must still quarantine after this service because, well, you never know...
It's really a disservice in my opinion because they call it "quarantine".

Sorry OP, I hope everything works out for you.

I do see rapid breathing, fogging of eyes, and the blue hippo looks to have wierd pattern on skin.
Np I do not have treatment tank available. Dr.reef quarantined did 99% my fish

I wonder if Dr Reef's QT timeline wasn't long enough for copper (if this is velvet or marine ich). I looked it up and its 2 weeks and the copper may not be at theraputic levels (2ppm+). Technically it can come in on inverts too, so maybe it came in that way. I think you are quite unlucky sadly. I am rethinking ordering from him now.

Purchase one of those rectangular storage totes from Walmart or Dollar General. I see people using them all the time when doing tank transfers.

If there in 5 g bucket with aeration and ato for copper, how long can these larger tangs be in there? Wouldn't it be to small for em?
20 long minimum and ideal if keeping tangs and similar, a 40 breeder tank. Check craigslist- facebook marketplace and goodwill type stores

They were great until I added from aLFS just small inverts and the cleaner wrasse:/
I'd recommend him. The powder blue had no ich or anything for weeks after delivery

So like fresh dipping or a longer stay? I screenshotted the medication and your statement so I have it. I'm thinking somehow making a quarantine tank with copper sounds to be the best all around decision if I'm understanding everyone correctly

Ok that's what I'm going to do. My fiance seems open to me stealing more space now that her favorite fish (powder blue) died. So if I understand right, copper is the best all around bet

coppersafe or copper power which are chelated form is safest.
Cupramine is a little stronger

Freshwater dips will help control, but not cure, Neobenedenia. Hyposalinity needs to be done for 30 days.

I'm getting another tank this evening and going to start copper after a freshwater dip. If this helps, this is a photo of the blue hippo up close now that she moved

Weird - it’s really thin and in this shot I can see discrete spots that look more like ich.

I bought cupramine from lfs
You can use it but be careful. Get a Hanna Copper test kit and do not exceed .5 copper level. Remove carbon if any and increase oxygen with air stone and monitor ammonia level

I bought salient copper. Set up a 55 gallon bare bottom with cannister filter. Following instructions for initial copper. Removed carbon. Blue hippo and powder blue both dead. Sailfin and gem looking rough but hopefully this helps. Also oxygenation the water extra to help with there heavy breathing

Sorry to hear. One trick, if you still have a freshly dead fish, give it a five minute freshwater dip. If there is Neobenedenia, you'll see the worms fall off. You can also do this to a live fish.

Oh ok that is good to know for the future! I didn't fresh dip before copper the tangs I moved over because they are already incredibly stressed. Just figured I hit them will copper and go from there. Still working on catching the rest tho.

It seems there is mixed opinions on how long they need to be in quarantine

Sailfin died last night. Don't see anything coming out the body in a freshwater dip. Here's a photo of his worse side. He's like bleached out. This was in quarantine

That sort of discoloration is pretty commonly seen as a post-mortem artifact, did it look like this before it died?
