Help! Frogspawn is not doing well

Your coral does not have brown jelly. Remove the rock turn the coral upside down in the tank lightly shake back and forth to remove all sediment then dip the coral.

BTW that's a pink octospawn
I have the same one to the right

How does brown jelly look? And what is this brown slime like substance on it ? Thanks for identifying the type of frogspawn it is. I wasn't sure what kind it was .

Looks like brown jelly to me :)
From what they know. Bjd is a bacterial infection. Of times it is begun with dieoff of living tissue. The bacteria feed of of the flesh and reproduce. In some cases the system becomes infected and the bacteria mulitly to extent that other corals in the system are effected.
Treating quickly is generally the only sure bet.
If it were a true bjd outbreak case the other head would be dead.

There's a great James Featheree article on euphyllia that covers it.

Ok, so it definitely brown jelly. I went to all the local fish stores near by and apparently no one has coral dip and the only store that did isn't going to have it until Saturday . What is the best thing to do since I have no way of getting the coral dip . What should I do . I'm freaking out over this !

It's not time brown jelly. Its dead coral.

Put four tablespoons of hydrogen peroxide in about six cups of water from your tank.

Or look for iodine at the drugstore.
