I'm a little ocd and observe my tank minimum for an hour a day. One of my monti's was not having polyp extension for a few days. Use the cell phone to zoom in (like a microscope)and saw a couple on the edge of the monti. They look like beghia nudibranchs only much smaller. Very hard to see. Almost went blind trying to track them all down. Luckily, so far they seem to have stayed in one small area of the tank. I've been dipping the 4 monti frags that i have in that area now 3 times a week in Bayer. How do you recognize the nudi?
Seems to be working monti's have full polyp extension again and the damaged area is receding.
Ill see if i can find a pic of the nudi.
You can also Google them, montipora eating nudibranchs.
