HELP! Issues with my 6 Stage RODI Unit

Can you guys tell me what is going on?
So my RODI Unit is not pushing out any water into the DI chamber. The PSI is nearly at Zero especially with strong water pressure from the faucet. It seems like its jamming in the first 3 chambers. I have the “water saver plus” so I replaced both RO cartridges along with everything else and triple checked all the connections. What can be the issue? [emoji30]

Make sure your RO membrane is seated correctly and not backwards. If you pull the line coming out of the membrane to the first DI canister, does it produce RO water?

Also: The DI chambers fill after the water leaves the RO Membrane chamber. Make sure there is nothing clogging that line.

Is the unit producing waste water when you attempt to run it?

Yes it produces but very minimal. Water actually comes out of the waste line as well but pours out at 3 psi

Yes waste water is dripping out. The DI chambers don’t fill to the top.

The RO membrane is seated correctly and pushed in all the way. Im using two 100gph RO membranes. Could that be the issue?

Did you replace stuff because it stopped working or did it start after you changed the filters?

Do you have an auto shutoff valve hooked up by your membranes?

I replaced stuff because it wasn’t working. Now it has gotten worse

I dont have a good answer for you. Something is stopped up. Considering how the thing works it is probably between the faucet and first canister. I would remove the first canister and filter and see if you get water from the top into a bucket. If you do them move on down and see where the pressure stops.

Are you talking about the water line in the di canisters? If so that's completely normal. The pressure pushes water from the bottom up through the di canisters, out of the fresh line. As long as the water level is above the Bottom cartridge cap, you should be fine. Any resistance in flow comming from the di will result in a higher water level inside the canister.

When the flush valve is opened to flush do you get normal flow out of the waste line?

and did you replace the membranes with the same ones you had?

The 75/ 150 gpd units use a smaller flow restrictor than the 100/200 gpd units.

Yes I have the 75/150 gpd Universal Plus RODI system from BRS. I was using two 100 gpd membranes when i replaced them. They were working fine then all of a sudden it wasnt giving me any flow higher than 3 psi barely anything coming out of the waste line. The DI chamber is basically empty like there is no water going into it.

The water is barely making it into the DI chamber. It gets stuck at the first 3 chambers.

That sounds like a great idea. If I find out where it stops. What do I do then?
