Help ...lost an anamone in a pump ...

How big was the nem? In a 90 gallon as long as the nem wasn't gigantic you should be ok. Just make sure to get any pieces you find out so they can't decompose in the tank.
The nem was about 10-12 cm when fully open

Does your LFS have already made saltwater you can buy?
Everything is ok ..tank looks good ..but I'm doing another 10% wc tonight ...I'm just very surprised at just how little I've found from the anemone...and I've looked for it everywhere ...this anemone was as big if not bigger than my hand ...but live and learn I guess ....I was chatting on another forum and one guy said to me ...dont worry about it I've blended about 120 nems and never had a fatality...I dont even do a water change now when it happens ...
So is it really that bad ....ok its always bad too loose a nem or fish ...but I mean how often do tanks actually crash from it ....

When I worked in aquaculture we had some occasionaly make it thru the pump. If I found pieces that were starting to smell bad I would pull them out. Any other pieces I would leave in. A lot of them would develop into babies. This was on a large system.

I also had this happen to me at home once before. Did the same as above and ended up with a few extra. This was on a 180.
