If you can score about 3 of these...I think they will help.

I got a arrow crab and he has really done a number on my 90 gallon tank keeping it clean
I have never seen an arrow crab for sale in any of my lfs sont know why i call them local i seem ti traval a good hour or more to get to any lol

Is thatbwhatbyou called a zebra turbo . Never seen one if honest only ever seem to get the like pinky red and white
That is a Zebra turbo. The pinky red are actually trochus and they are my favorite snail overall. I would expect the Zebras to eat your specific algae more readily than a trochus though.

Just been trying to find zebra turbo only one place is saying there zebra there £9each and £12 postage but out of stock

No i will try find it on google truble is can always get what is available in US . Did think of trying a small course of hydrogen peroxide but really hard to get in the UK
You should be able to get ProdiBio as my understanding is that it is very popular in Europe. In the US I would have recommended Vibrant but your shipping charges for that would be very high. Finding the right CuC would be preferred but there are other options.

If you go that route, remove the rock slowly since that is where the bacteria for your biofilter is going to be. Pull too much rock at once and you could get an ammonia spike.

Ok thanks im thinking of leaving it a few weeks just to see and i have a lfs i can pop into tomorrow and buy maybe 10 or more snails off them

He has doubled in size in the past month. I would say his torso is 2.5 inches long and "wingspan" is probably is 7 inches. He is always feasting on algea on my rock
Ok il have to look out for one see ifni can find one on internet

They look like Nerites to me. But hey, it looks like they are on the algae so that has to be a good thing.

Ok so someone suggested butting vinegar in my take to help get shot of algea but he has a fresh water and one else heard of this oh and he said it had to be cider vinegar.

Umm... not sure about cider vinegar but yes, people do dose pure vinegar to their tanks to reduce available nitrates. You can dose vodka in the same way. The concept is that the carbon in these liquids fuels a bacteria bloom that consumes the nitrates. Your skimmer then removes the bacteria. By reducing nitrates this way, you reduce the amount of food available for the algae in an effort to starve it out.

thats the rock they have spent alot of time on today [emoji222] .
So the thing is how many more should i buy .

Great news! I would only add 2-3 more and let them do their thing. A note on Nerite snails is that they will occasionally leave the tank to be found somewhere in the house. They are a tidal snail and spend some time out of the water in their natural environment.
