Help me program my Reefkeeper lite, Please

when using a secon dc4 does it matter which outlet you plug the second dc4 into?

it doesnt matter what you plug it into, or where it is on the chain. it will see it all the same.
after you get this all setup with your lights. and want your RSS feature to work in a siggy like mine (have to make it smalller for it to work on this site), head over to reefchat.org and make a siggy. its a bit confising at first, but you'll get the hang of it.

anyone know how to program the DA ATO?

also for the hystersis, you might want to make the value a little higher for the heaters. i made mine .5 degrees. if i kept it lower my heater would click off and on too much and drove me nuts. my Ca reactor soleniod sounds like someone is doing that mexican dance with the spoons...... anyone know of a quiet solenoid for the CO2 regulator? i got the milwalkee one and it clicks too loud.

This one is super easy to, I made a remote wast collector with float valve.
Programming is as follows:
Skimmer plugged in to Channel 2 on PC4
Mode-Auto
Function-Pump
Alarm (select which ever alarm number you programmed, I used #1)
Action-Off

Now under main menu go to Alarms and select an available Alarm
Alert (your discretion)
Device-Select which switch port you used (my case SWA)
Set Point-.5
Trip-Above.

Waste fills the jar, float goes up, skimmer turns off.

I hate to sound dumb, but whats the RSS feature? and what's a siggy?

the RSS feed would be the information from the RKL displayed on a web page or RSS reader.
A "siggy" is a signature you create in forums. It shows below every posting you do. It can be any information but also as mentioned before the actual values from the RKL displayed in the signature. You can create one in the "other" forum and use it everywhere.

For both options you would need the DA NET-module to make this work

ok thanks, also thanks for all your help. I printed the new manual and had it placed in a sprial binder. I'm starting to get some understanding of the operation of the RKL. I'm feeling better about my purchase knowing I can ask question here.

Glad we can help you out...
There are so many options for the RKL it can be overwhelming at first.

If you want to see how the RSS feed with actual info about my tank (Elos Mini) works you can have a peak at my little website I am putting together. It is NOT finished yet and still have to work on many details but you get an idea.
The RSS feed is at the bottom right of the page: LINK

That's so neat. Your website is very nice, love your tank and inhabitors. I really like the web attachment and the dsplay, that is what I'm wanting for my tank. Soon as I can get confortable using the RKL I plan to get the net module and the sl2 module. I'm also planning on running 2 bulk reef dosing pumps for alk and calcium, currently using their 2 part products. next month I had planned to purchase the SL2. I have to go slow, my hobby budget had to be decrease since my husband got layoffed. But taking care of my tanks keep my mine calm and off life problems sometimes.
