+1 ^ I waited a year before I added mine. I've seen too many anemone is dying posts. Hopefully, the LFS will nurse it back to health. If they suggested you buy it knowing your tank age and size, I'd find a new LFS, as well.

As others have said the tank is way to young for a nem. My tank is almost a year and I don't have a nem in it yet. It will end up dying in that tank even if you do everything possible to correct it.

Also as stated above if the lfs knows about your tank and it's age please find a new store. It would be in your best interest to find a store that will at least give you advice before selling you something that won't work in your tank.

The lights are probably inadequate for the nem as is the stability with the tank being so small. See if the store will take it back or if a reefer will home it for you.

My lfs guys are very knowledgeable and gave me a ton of advice what happened over the past few days was entirely my fault I didn't listen to them and rushed everything. They had warned me but I was to impatient thank you for all the help from everybody here. I did a water change and I am currently trying to find out if I can move my anenome back to the store

My tank is 5 going on 6 months at the end of this month. I have a baby rose bta that is doing great and I have a big green bta that is nursing it's way back to Health. My tank is fully cycled. You don't need to wait a year to have a anemone. As long as you feed it twice a week and have good light ( like t5 high output) you should be fine. It's a awesome sight seeing clownfish and anemones live as one!

I have the fluval edge with the leds, and screw clown fish lol mine snaps at me every time I put my hand in the tank he is cool though. Its a fire clown and it shares my bubble anemone with two anemone crabs

funny you mentioned it 10gaclowns, my clowns will eat the food right out of my hand like they are starving. Mind you the tank gets fed three to four times a week!
