HELP MY ZOAS ARE DYING EMERGENCY

This all started with my speckled krak it went from open and happy to shriveled on the brink of death in about 2 days time. All my other zoas are quickly following and idk what to do, I’ve already dipped them in coral rx and did a massive water change and it keeps spreading. The odd thing is none of the zoas on my rock seems to be affected only the ones on my rack, that sit at the same hight as the zoas on my rock. I haven’t made any adjustments to light or temperature, none of my other corals seem to be exhibiting signs of death. Please help all information is helpful.

i’m thinking bacterial infection? might do a hydrogen peroxide or iodine dip

This is a consideration with zoas. Some like low light and others higher light. I have low light zoas lower but my high light zoas are getting 250 par 2/3 high in the tank.

OP you may need to determine the light needs of your new zoas if your other parameters are good.

No new light same lights been running for over a year same settings

Nitrate a little low and undetectable phosphate could be an issue also. Tank it came from probably had more available nutrients.

me fragged off main colonies others bought but been in the tank for over 2 months at least

Yea my chaeto was doing too good of a job, I recently pulled out 3/4 of it to try to remedy it

Oh ok I see the problem now. Your water parameters are off and corals are starving. This usually takes weeks or several months to visibly show exterior signs of distress in corals.

Iodine based dip can help perk them up without being harmful.

I will go with everyone else nutrients are to low and water changes will not help that if anything make it worse. They like a little higher nutrients just not excessive detritus. Do some direct feeding and some AB+

Direct feeding? I had some zoas took about 3 months to settle in but I raised my nitrates way up and then they started doing better. My nitrates are over 20.
