Help picking livestock ?

Thanks guys. Still working on getting a card board outline to Octo lids. Keep ****** it up.

I’ll stick with what I got for a month and research the above. Obviously would be preferred to have a lid , but I do not. And somehow there is no ready solution for the JBJ 28.

6 small fish? I like that. I do water changes regularly just out of shear “ I want to interact with my tank”
I've got 7 fish in my 32. some might say it's overstocked but its been working out for me!

If it isn't a reef tank I may suggest a Valentini puffer aslo known as the saddleback puffer. These guys are peacful but will create lots of waste! An easier fish would be something like a royal gramma.
God I want a puffer. But this is a reef tank.

I have seen them twice now in at a LFS. The Yellow Candy Hogfish/2 Spot Hogfish. 30g, max size 4", very peaceful, pretty cheap price, and looks like a yellow corris wrasse, but better in my opinion.
Basslets are another favorite of mine. Like the Jack-o-lantern, Swissguard, Swalesi, Chalk, and Tobacco.
You can also do a Dragonet. If you want to learn how to get a colony of Tigger pods going. Checkout the Videographer Form on R2R or look on YouTube 40B Knasty. If you have any questions. Send me a message.
Here is the Candy Stripe Hogfish

4” would be a bit too much ? But that’s gorgeous. I’ve tried getting pods going but what I’ve received hasn’t been... good. Sans sump though. Thank you for the info. Some more for me to dive in to!

Here is my old Swissguard. That I miss so much!
Also 4" is not to big. Your clowns are going to get that size.
This was in a 20g

That is one of my top 3 wrasses and I'm getting one for my 180 gal. Don't they need at least 75 gallons? They're also quite rare and expensive!

If you are going to get a new tank soon and this fish is still small. I don't see any harm in it having it small for the time being. Then give it a new home 180g. I am sure it will be fine for a few months. It was placed in a bag and probably sitting in a tank smaller than yours right now. So I am sure it will be happy to stretch out for a bit. Get acquainted with your other fish. Then have a mansion of a tank for his adult life.
You asked for a fish. Not the price.
