Okay @Saltyreef im sorry for the redundancy, what’s the best way to get a consumption trend ? So today I’m doing a water change I’ll take test now, then every day for the next week and see the trend ? That’s it ?

Yep. Daily tests @ same time each day for 5 days. Youll want to test calcium, alk and mag. Mag will be the slowest to drop, you may not notice a huge difference.
This will tell you how much your tank is consuming per day and then you can find an average. Always keep in mind this # will change with other variables but it will help you stay a lot more consistant and your corals health will thank you.
You can do this with or without kalk online....whatever you prefer....some people dont like wasting the money or time mixing top off water after they nailed down a proper 2 part dosing regemine. I do kalk still since im hand dosing for the time being and not perfect at it.

Great finally feel like I’m understanding, in a way I’m not too upset about losing the torch. It’s a lesson that before anything I need to nail down my parameters. I’m gunna get right on this today. Thanks a lot.

Test every 24-48 hrs and record numbers for later computation.
Pull back on 2 part until you know what your consumption is. I use B-bionic which is good stuff
