HELP! Purple tang almost eaten by nem!

Ida gave it back to the carpet.

I had a rock nem that ate two of my 3 blue eyed anthias. Spit one out in a slime coat. Craziest thing I shhh you not.

I think the ret@rded fish factor had more to do with it.

That was one smart fish, he had been in that tank 6 months no prob

This is exactly why I won't even consider a carpet anemone, even in a 6 foot tank. There's just too much opportunity for disaster. I was contemplating keeping an 8 inch bta I just acquired in a total setup purchase I just made but even that carries too high a risk of coral loss for me. Sorry about your loss, purple tangs are definitely one of the most beautiful out there and one of the fish I'm currently considering. Those carpets can be brutal, given the opportuity
