Hey guy i have what is meant to be a green bubble tip that was a little bleached when i got it had it in my 30 gal cube but have since upgraded to a 120 with a sump. Now the anemone looks a lot more bleached mouth appears to be open most of the time and has lost its tentacles. Is there anything i can do to try and help it?

More info please.

Can you post a photo?

Please post your current test results, particularly: pH, ALK, Nitrates, Phosphates, Temp, Salinity.

Tell us about the your upgrade process...

Did you us RODI water?

Did you cycle the new tank?

What kind of lighting are you using? What are the tank dimensions and is the light spread enough to cover the tank at an adequate intensity?

Current test
Ph 8.1
Temp 26.7
Salinity 1.025
Ammo 0
Nitrite 0
Alk 9.5
Nitrate 0
Phosphate 0

Upgrade tank is 1360mm x 600mm x 600mm

Tank was filled with tap water for leak check drained then filled with mixed salt water. Rodi + aquaforest sea salt. Let tank run for a couple of weeks then added seachem stability. Transfered fish and some of the live rock from the cube. Waited a week then transfered nem and the acan coral that i have.

Lighting i have a fluval sea 3.0 25000k 46watts 36-48in and a lumen aqua led ocean 12000k 150watts 48in

This is what it looked like this morning.

And a full tank shot excuse the diatoms.

You can tell from the wattage of your lights and tank dimensions that it’s insufficient light. Your lights are 196watts total, where as good coral growing lights like radions are 190 watts each, and most people would use six on a tank that size, totaling 1,140 watts.

He doesn't look good. Monitor very closely and be ready to pull him ASAP if he dies. I go by smell when it gets to that point.

Link the lights?

And how would i go about uping the nutrients?

I'm guessing you likely upgraded the lights versus when it was in the smaller tank?

When i got the nem i all ready had the bigger tank and lights waiting to be setup so was using the same lights on the smaller tank while the nem was in there as the light that was on the smaller tank was a no name clip on led.

Water depth can affect light intensity. But as @Malifry97 said, you can visually see it’s not bright enough. I suggest the MarsAqua 200w they’re cheap and that’s what I’m using at the moment. they work just fine.
