Im not sure but I think you have the hot leads connected wrong. They should be on the exact opposite sides of each other. You have one more to the right and the other to the left.

They are but I’ve tried them every way possible except the correct way

Ok. Disconnect everything on the relay and start from scratch. First thing. Connect hot lead coming from the plug end to the top right , then other end coming out the same side.

I made my from all 12vdc. Didn’t need a relay or extension cord .. but I’ll try to help you out.

Now on your transformer , connect the float switch to the leads.

I read on the youtube video that one guy had a relay that looked the same but the base was wired with the load on top and the control on bottom... might be your problem.

and I have one wire from transformer tied to one wire from float

Look for a diagram on the relay. I drew this up to try and help you. Be in awe of my amazing artistic skills...

Try the hot leads on the bottom .. same position but on the bottom. If that doesn’t work, try other bottom side

Finally! I got it! Thanks y’all for all your help! I’m certainly a dummy when it comes to electricity but fresh! Never tried the opposite. Should of been my first thing to try since it is Chinese.
