Help with busted salt box from amazon

Hey guys so my salt was delivered today from amazon as the seller and distributor and the box was destroyed one of the bags was slashed open and overall I was not happy with how the product was shipped. if that doesn't make it bad the mailman left it in the rain instead of at my door or under the garage which both options were not much further than where he dropped it off. I was wondering how I should go about getting a replacement shipped. My issue is that sending back this salt would prove very difficult as the box which it was shipped in was soggy and destroyed. Any ideas. I couldn't find an amazon phone number to call.

I remembered previously you can find a number to call using the Amazon App and going through the return and replacement option. It was hard to find and I don’t know if they have removed that

Keep looking on the amazon webpage.
They have 3 options. Phone, chat and email for customer service.
I seriously doubt they will make you mail it back.

You can actually just go into your orders, select "Return or replace items" then in the drop down select "Product and shipping box both damaged". Very simply process.

Also how I store mine. Easy to open by unscrewing the lid. And holds about 200 gallons worth of salt in a five gallon bucket

when i ordered salt from amazon the box was beat up pretty badly too luckily though none of the bags were ripped

I've had this happen before. I clicked the return or replace link. They sent a new box, no questions asked. I got to keep what was usable in the original box, which was 2 bags of salt.

I've never had to return salt but a few other things over the years. The process with Amazon was painless- just shoot them a message from you order session and I'm sure they will take care of it.

Hello,

I don’t see it as much an amazon issue as it is the weak delivery people who drop, kick, push, slide and get as close to the door before they give up.

They should have heavy lifting divisions for 40 pounds and up. Or beef up those amazon drones.

lol thats accurate its the delivery service who messes up the packages it doesn't leave the amazon warehouse like that when i ordered reef saver dry rock off amazon when the box arrived it wasn't even taped anymore the ups people just folded the flaps and left it infront of my garage door lol

honestly I don't want to sell the salt to anybody incase the salt was tampered or somehow contracted some chemical that is deadly to a tank.

Ordered some sand recently. The bags were each in a caribsea marked box which was a close match to the bags size. These which were then in a regular amazon shipping box. The amazon box was pretty banged up but the inside box was intact. Box was stamped heavy

I imagine they will just ship you a new order and not ask for returns.
