Given that it's on both sides, I tend to suspect an injury of some sort - she may have gotten wedged between two rocks or some such. I'd be remiss, however, if I didn't bring up the possibility of uronema. Usually associated with Chromis, but it's a bad lad, uronema is . . .

HumbleFish's write-up on Uronema marinum is here: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/uronema-marinum.247940/

In either case, a bacterial infection is very possible, and would be best treated with antibiotics in a QT.

I have furon 2 metroplex and kanaplex
Which one would you use or a combination

I've got a regal angelfish who's just coming out of antibiotic treatment. For her, I used Furan-2 and Kanaplex, and also dosed Metroplex/Praziquantel together a couple of times, in the form of "General Cure".

After more than ten days of that, she's still got an issue with one eye, but it seems to be clearing.

If it's an injury, it _may_ clear on its own. I've seen fish that were hit by sharks go on to have a full recovery, with only a bit of scarring, with no treatment at all.

For now, I'd be tempted to watch closely, and allow her to recover on her own unless I saw symptoms of bacterial infection, or the injury appeared to be getting worse.

If she's come down with Uronema, I'd for sure use the Metroplex.

But that's just me . . .

These butterflies are very prone to bacterial infections. They are so thin that it often appears on both sides of their bodies. Fast action is required to have a chance to save them. An acriflavin dip may help arrest the bacteria long enough for the meds to help. Either the triple threat of Kanaplex, Furan2 and metroplex OR something like Erythromycin Or even better is the NGP (nitrofuricin green powder) -- not that I spelled that right at all. lol

So do you think I should leave her in the dt like @Maritimer suggested or put her in qt and start treatment

And what does it look like to you

The pictures don't really give a clear view of what it might be (either a scrape or infection), though if it's a scrape then it very well could get infected quickly. Feed with vitamins for now and watch very carefully. Be ready to transfer to QT asap and treat if you need to, the moment you need to.

Ok.. do you want me to get another picture

And I can't find nitrofuracin green powder

I can see lifted scales on the forward part of the abrasion, do they look like they were roughed up, or are they possibly being pushed outward by fluid pressure under her skin?

That pink, abraded area below her eyespot - does it look more like a kid's skinned knee, or more fuzzy/furry/out-of-focus?

Those are some of the things I'd be looking at to make the judgement call about whether to try to move her into QT.

How is her feeding response? I'm seeing some contours that indicate that she's a bit thin, even for a copperband.

It looks likes lifted scales and the abrasion looks a brownish scabbed burned looking area

She did eat a little and it looks like she may have backed up between rocks which did this.. the other side is "lifted scales like this side but no spot

I just don't understand how in a 6 hour period while I was sleeping she looks like she's been in a war lol

Like any injury, it can happen in the blink of an eye. She gets startled by something (Is she like my yellow longnose butterfly, sleeping in the open at night?), rushes blindly into the liverock, and gets her dorsal ridge jammed between two pieces. The ensuing struggle to free herself probably took all of ten seconds. Maybe three.

It's like having kids, sometimes!

Yeah, looking at those pictures and knowing how fragile these guys are, I would go ahead and remove to QT with antibiotics. At least with kanaplex until those abrasions heal.

I woke up this morning and she has went to fish heaven;(
