Help with dosing

Ph drops at night this is one reasoning folks with a fuge run the fuge light opposite light schedule to minimize swing. never checked but I do it. With using a doser and it being split up over 24 hours don’t think it would be an issue. You could start after lights to hedge your bets. Your shooting for a 1.5 increase in DKH? It will affect ph but I’ve not had an issue in my rank with similar increase over a cpl days

Are you using liquid supplements? If so 139 total volume divided by 2 gives max ml in 12 hours to add With doser on 24 hour schedule you could add 139 ml over full time say 10 pm today to 10 pm tomorrow. Still start lower set doser to start it’s 10 doses in auto mode after lights out assuming doser does a 24 hour schedule in auto.

Oh wow, Thats what it meant, thank you for clearing that up! Im dosing red sea liquid alk youre correct ive started the dosing as you advised... it should start at 12pm tonight and end tomorrow i will test at noon tomorrow aswell to see where everything is and adjust from there thank you for your help!

Also its dosing 10ml for each dose for 10 times for 1day thats correct right?

Your welcome hope it gets ya moving in right direction. When you retest I like to give tank an hour or more after last addition to make sure it’s really mixed in now.....I may gave in the past chased numbers that were not correct as I didn’t let it work thru tank sump etc and really get mixed in

It was all good in the end. It taught me to go slow in all things and double check. Simple things like shaking the RedSea Alk additive before use easy to rush past and muss for me at least. Thing I love about these forums is a chance to share a screwup and save somone else the same headache
