Help with Jebao DC-12000

It seems to have better/more flow than the 18 once it gets going. I noticed it not only flowed up but is really moved the whoke body of water in the can. Tge mag 18 seemed to be straight up. Are you using 3/4" on each pump also?

The Jebao I got came with this crap. I had to hacksaw it to the right diameter for a 1" hose. Which is almost the same as the output of the mag. I also put the mag on top of some tupperware so that are at the same depth to the top of the water.

Sorry forgot to post the pic. [emoji28]
I used pvc think it was 1.5" it wont screw all the way down but good enough for internal plumbing. Then I reduced it to 1".
My tank is about 110 gallon rimless.

I already purchased this pump so I'll have to go with it. I might put 1 return and the reactors on the mag 9.5 and let this pump run the other 2- 3/4" & 1- 1/2". I figure, head included, it will give me 1800gph maybe a little more for the 180g. It's only 85w. I may not save the wattage but I will save the heat and free space from tossing the mj1200s.

Today or Tomorrow I will finally set up my system. Ive got it running with regular tap water getting all the fine particles off the rock. Ive got black sand so dont want white particulate from the rocks settling on the sand. Anyway ive got 2 BRS reactors one carbon and one biopellet which will be run off the single Jebao DC12000. As per Eckolancer it should be enough flow to run them all.

I don't use a screen on mine. If you really want some kinda screen maybe take egg create make a box around it and get some of the netting used to keep fish from jumping out of tanks wrapped around the egg create.

Where did you buy yours from. It is pictured with the pump on fish-street. I just put in a support request to ask why it wasn't in the box and if it doesn't come with it, how to get one. I'll let you know when they reply
