Ammonia is the nitrogenous waste you need to worry about in marine fish - nitrite is virtually non toxic and nitrate has to be super high, over 100ppm before you start to see issues.@Jay Hemdal what I didn't really put enough thought into... was removing all my fish from DT has caused a bit of a nitrate and nitrite spike. My ammonia seems to be the best at 0.25ppm right now after checking. I put in some algone because my nitrate is 150ppm. hoping to drop that. My alk is a bit high too but leaving be for now.Ammonia is the nitrogenous waste you need to worry about in marine fish - nitrite is virtually non toxic and nitrate has to be super high, over 100ppm before you start to see issues.

if the tank is stable and has been ghost fed/the cuc was being fed maybe every couple days, if not or the tank got a bit off, maybe 1-2weeks or so between fish (depending on size, maybe more or less)My ammonia seems to be the best at 0.25ppm right now after checking. When I re-add all my fish from the fallow period... I assume I need to do so slowly vs all at once?
