Help with red sea product

Sorry is doing this in bits
were is you alk now?
were do you want to be?
as @dragon99 stated we would need these two measures and the we can figure the dose this time.
It was at 9.9 if i remember correctly, i like mine in the 11 and 12 range.

And it tells you the mixture ratio. I mixed to that ratio but now need to figure out dosing since it's telling me i need to dose in. Grams

I wanna figure out a good mathmatical equation to know how much to dose every time i dose. That way i can digure it out. But red sea isnt making this easy

So its 1 gram to 100 liters

I would do 13 grams and dose with a water change. No there is not precise dosage. That is one reason I switch away and with a different product line.

I love the product as in amazing growth and color. I have talked to brs and the lady told me that the red sea for some reason gives more color to corals than some other products. Which is why im with red sea but i believe they need to figure out that people in the hobby arent all science experts and i would have thought it would have been a given to include the dosing chart for after the premixed solution.

The other part of this is that ive already mixed the entire container with fresh rodi water to make liquid form to just refill the liquid container i have from the old red sea alk liquid buffer. Wich is why i am trying to find out a good chart to use to dose the mixed solution

From what I see, it's based on dosing for full volume of tank, not to create a desired amount of solution to then measure for dosing. Basically you would dilute the recommended gram weight needed to raise the alk to desired level into, let's just say, a cup of rodi. Then the entire rodi/alk mixture then to add to your tank. I'll look back at pics and where you stand and what you want to achieve to get more specific for your needs. It took me a while to figure out their graph/chart even with the liquid additives. Currently I use all Red Sea liquid additives myself and am very happy with their product thus far.

Here is the litera converted to gallons. Which i have done.

But heres how they tell you to dose...in grams.....no sense whatsoever.

Im really happy with their products as well. But to me it should be common sense to give a correct dosing chart for the stock solution because thats what the instructions tell you to do.

I see now the stock solution method. So from what I'm getting. Tell me if I'm wrong. Dilute entire contents of package (2.2lb = 1kg) into 21 pints (2.625gal) of Rodi. Then each 1ml of stock solution dosed will then raise the dkh .034ppm for every 25 gallons.
That make sense?

Way more difficult than it should be, I agree. Hard to make a standard dosing spreadsheet when have to math it up every time needing to dose.

Yes that makes sense. But a chat would have been so much easier. Im not very good with math amd i dont want to call someone every day to get a dosing amount. How would i go figuring a dose out when the tabk is 40 gallons and its always going to need tweaking because sometimes i dont get to tank for 2 days...

So 1.6ml = .034dkh based on 40 gal
29.4117647ml = 1dkh rise based on 40gal

My head hurts now. But I believe that is correct.
