Just bought a 75 gallon tank and need some input on what sump setup I should use. I want to keep sps corals along with tangs and coral beauty’s. The pics that are posted are from the individual I bought it from. Also would like to know if the lighting system is sufficient and any info I can get in rather to use dosers or not.Tank being delivered Friday.

Are you looking to build your own sump or get something pre-made?

I use a trigger systems emerald 34 on my 75gal. Fits under the stand and gives me room for my media reactors and skimmer locker. As for the lights looks like a 6 bulb t5 setup which should work for anything you might want to keep. Hard to tell what brand but at minimum if you can find out how old the bulbs are you might need to replace them. I use two Kessil a360we on my 75.

I used an Eshopps R200 for mine (2nd generation) that has worked great but they changed the design for the worse on the Gen 3 in my opinion. Simple but effective layout on the Gen 2. This is very similar to the Trigger 30s.

Looks like a six bulb T5 setup for lighting so you're set there.

Also there are some scratches on the glass does anyone have any suggestions on bugging them out? I’ve watched some you tube videos on some different compounds.

Unless you just want to spend the money it looks like that sump will work fine for what you’re doing, if you’re getting it along with the tank. You can always just make it look a little neater in your cabinet if that’s what you’re worried about.

Even with the large crack that the guy has silicone on. That’s my biggest worry. Don’t want to come home one day to find all my tank water on the floor. But if u think it will work I am down for saving money. I can put that to a rodi system.

Ok I have the tank. I am not digging the t5 lighting with the bulbs. Can anyone advise me on some decent lights for my 75 gallon.
