Help with sump setup on 75 gallon

Refugium most definitely

I just need to figure out the height of each piece of glass for the tank so I can have them cut and then it’s just a matter of silicone aquarium safe of course and let it cure then plumb it.

I'm running two kessil a360we's with 2 48" retrofit kits. Aqua blue specials are my go to lights. If I redid the lights I would run the aquatic life 48 hybrids with my kessil. The just weren't an option when I built my system.

Make sure to use silicone 1 not 2.
You can’t use the baffles from the broken tank?

6 inches taller to be exact
I guess it would depend on how much water volume you wanted to be honest if it was a 20g long same dimensions 29g is just taller you might have to raise the skimmer up to get it to preform properly in the 29 with deeper water jm2c

If you have the room in your cabinet then go ahead and have glass cut, but remember your skimmer should only be in around 9” of water so make sure that if you are raising it up you can still take the collection cup off. I made that mistake when I upgraded my sump, that’s why I just did a cabinet upgrade build not long ago. Otherwise just use the old baffles and save the cost of glass and cutting.

Well I will be using the old baffles. Thanks y’all that has been on my mind on how I was going to go about the sump.

I tried a 29 with about 9 inches of water in it. My pump would only adjust to about 1/3 the power. I changed to an Eshoppes R200 Sump and my water turnover almost doubled. Only thing I don’t like about this Sump is the return section is in the back, you have to stick your head in the cabinet to see the water level. In my opinion the 29 is too tall.

I used an Eshopps R200 for mine (2nd generation) that has worked great but they changed the design for the worse on the Gen 3 in my opinion. Simple but effective layout on the Gen 2. This is very similar to the Trigger 30s.

Looks like a six bulb T5 setup for lighting so you're set there.
Looks really nice

this is the 29 gallon tank that is 19” high with the skimmer and return pump. Do y’all think this will work for my sump tank
