Help!!!!!

Woke up this morning all my fish are dead super high ammonia level, how do I fix this issue I can not afford to replace all the water? I have a in hatched shark in my tank will it effect him?

There are a few ways but your best option is a large water change.
You can add some bacteria to your tank and it will act like a recycle of the tank.
I'm afraid without addressing the issue ASAP it will be bad for your sharky too.

Ammonia is a death sentence. You need some type of ammonia binder in there quick.

Without replacing water, how much of a water change can you do?

This also begs the questions, what size tank and has it gone through a complete cycle?

I advise you return the shark to whomever you bought it from, if not it's almost certain it will die if there's high ammonia and nothing you can do to lower it.

See if you have a friend who will take care of the shark for a brief period of time, to allow you to get the params under control.
If you can't replace all the water, then your going to have to add an Ammo Lok to the tank, to get it outta there safely. It will affect all the fish, including the one thats left.

Seachem Prime will lock Ammonia, Nitrites & nitrates and give you a little more time to address the issues. Unfortunately ammonia usually kills quickly but in some fish can just damage them and they will die in the weeks to come instead of straight away, I agree re home your shark immed.

Thank you I moved the shark to a second tank that I have that I stable, and have been doing water changes to the the ammonia level back to normal.

Looks like a black asterina star, not something you want as those have been known to munch on corals they multiply very rapidly too!
I would toss him the second you see him again.
There are white ones which pose no threat, I have tons in my tank! But the black ones are bad news.

Seachem Prime is great for a temporary fix until you can figure out what happened. Do you have any idea what caused it?

So I hve done numerous water changes and even used a ammonia neutralizer and my ammonia level is still pretty high it's at a 2.0 any idea

Sounds like it's cycling again. Have you searched the tank for anything else that might be dead and decaying?

From what I can recal the neutralizes don't actually get rid of the ammonia or nitrate etc but put them in a non toxic state so they will still show up on your tests.
We have to find what's causing the spike!
If you are just doing water changes whatver has died or is causing your mess is still in there.
I would clean out all of your filters add a new gfo and do a huge water change blast all the detritus off the rocks and start fresh!

Agreed. An ammonia binder is only an emergency measure.

There was a coral I the tanks hat died and the rock it was on turned black I have just removed this and filtered threw the sand for anything else that may possibly be there and it's a 29 gal tank I also have a 120 gal but never have had this issue

How long has the tank been set up I see it was a biocube
Have you cleaned out the back chambers, if you still have the bio balls I would give those a good cleaning.
I also have he biocube so when I do a water change i I take the water from the back right and left chambers and stir up as much detritus as I can to suck it out I also replace all the filtration do you have a pic of your set up
