Do you think the one on the right is a pipe organ? I though it was a Kanopia,( Jasmine polyp, daisy polyp.)The Xenia to the left will grow rampant! But the pipe organ coral is slower and I think that is some sort of algae sprouting from the plug.

Thank you!The one one the left is a clump of clove polyps. The one on the right are daisy poylps, based on the skelleltal structure I can see in the picture. Now to answer your original question, the long stick thing is a type of macro algae, you should be able to remove it by simply pulling it off.
