Anyone know what this stick thing is growing out of my polyp?

Looks like its trying to spread. I would watch those, as they do like to spread. A lot.

The Xenia to the left will grow rampant! But the pipe organ coral is slower and I think that is some sort of algae sprouting from the plug.

Do you think the one on the right is a pipe organ? I though it was a Kanopia,( Jasmine polyp, daisy polyp.)

Looks like it has a skeleton which would suggest pipe organ. Does it have a purplish skeleton??

And if not I withdraw my earlier post as they will both grow rampant if conditions are right! Lol

The one one the left is a clump of clove polyps. The one on the right are daisy poylps, based on the skelleltal structure I can see in the picture. Now to answer your original question, the long stick thing is a type of macro algae, you should be able to remove it by simply pulling it off.

Thank you!
