here is my fish room so far

Looks great good work. I'm going to be setting up a very similar fish room in my basement. Two questions for you... 1) how are you handling humidity from evaporation? 2) do you have plumbing for waste water down there? All the plumbing in my basement is high up so no utility sink...
 
Dehumidifier is set 55% and no issue. my plumbing done by Neptune doser for water changes or hose to drain.

What are you using for a return pump from sump to DT? Do you know how much head loss you have and flow rate at the DT?

So looks like you've got 2 mp40s running along with the return, for flow. And the sicce is providing enough circulation with that head pressure you think? I have heard in a few places that the vortex don't do that well with the head pressure even though they are rated for it.

funny you say that i have change my power head around and dialed them down and 1 mp10 break flow up but i have my refuguim producing oxgen. thing seem happy in tank.
 
time to upgrade waiting on water test, then Dad is going help me with building stand
