I’m not in the market for lights, so I won’t be pursuing this. You could look up FOOVV limited on alibaba and contact them. Just for an idea of cost, I think I paid about $500 (including shipping which was like $180 or something $$$) for four five ft bars, fully programmable. I’m very happy with my purchase. They will let you design your own spectrum too, but I just went with the standard blue bars that contain three or four blue variations.

For mounting, they only come with individual brackets and stainless wire kits. Pretty easy to rig something up though.

Bonnie said “yes, still can buy.” I’m both sure how she would do it though considering they are not listed.
I'm sure they'll just invoice you whatever it costs like a custom order.

They may come back up for sale thru ali, seems like they changed storefront but didn't create all their listings yet.

For the controllable bars it's 1 wall plug/ballast to control all 4 yes? I think I'm going to order some to replace my aquatic life t5 hybrid when my current bulbs go bad.

The item Sawdonkey puechased contained 4 bars running together on one driver.
Sawdonkey, you mentioned the driver getting pretty hot. Is that on 100% output? Also, do the bars themselves get real hot?
And finally, do you know if it is possinle to have more than 1 color configuration on the bars. So that bar #1 is alternating 420 and 450nm. Bar #2 is alternating cool white and 470nm. And so on?
Sorry for all the questions

Everything you said is correct. Yes, one driver with one plug that runs four bars. You also get one WiFi controller. You pick the bars individually, so if you wanted, you could get four colors. I’ve bought two sets of these now. One set was two bars at all 450 and two with a range of blues. The other set was two bars with a range of blues and two with a daylight spectrum.

Yes, the driver gets hot when the bars are cranked up, but that’s not surprising. My Orphek drivers in my V4s got so hot you could barely touch them . And yes, the bars get pretty easement too. I have a fan that plows across my driver and all of my coralcare fixtures that keeps everything cool.

Im pretty much sold on these now. Just have to watch the temp, which is wise regardless of equipment.

Good luck on the new build! Looking forward to updates.

There are brackets to mount like a ladder which you then can hang. The bar has a slot in the top running the whole length that captures a nut. Fairly flexible in how you want to do it.

For my frag I have 2 bars on kessil rigid arms I had lying around. The hardware is the same size I didn't need to buy anything. Can only fit 2 on those arms though, not wide enough front to back for more.

I bought 2 of these. Went with alternating 420nm and 470nm LEDs to supplement an XR15 G5 Blue. They should be here before the weekend.

I’m not sure if you pulled the trigger on these, but you should. The WiFi brain of these is identical to the new Orpheck Osix, just runs different software (as far as I can tell). The Herefi (now called Foov Limited) lady told me that their bars are made in the same factory. Not surprising. The Orpheks come with a meanwell driver while my bars came with a generic driver…but cost about half as much after shipping.

You can get four five foot long WiFi controlled bars right now for $524 shipped. Cheaper if your bars are shorter. Search Alibaba for “shenzhen Foov Limited”. “Bonnie” from there is very helpful and responsive, but only responds in the middle of the night given the time difference. And FYI, the aliexpress bars a few have linked above are very different.

Your update has me looking into these. I’ve got a cart put together but I’m unsure as to their spectrum. The current listing doesn’t really differentiate between the blue/uv/reef etc. Do you have to email them to ask for the color combo information?

Yeah, that is odd. When I ordered, you could select. I’d use the”chat now feature and inquire”. “Bonnie” will respond a the late evenings when their business hours start.

Why did they change names without a trance? It looks very shady.
No idea. I just ordered two sets of bars on different occasions, and everything went smoothly (little shipping delay on one order). A few months ago, “Bonnie” the person I dealt with, messaged me and said that they had a new name and sent me a link. I’d order from them again.

How do you like your light bars and what settings did you request? Thanks for speaking with me.

I imported 20 x 36” led bars and 5 drivers and have been running them over my in wall 7x3x2.5 for over a year now.

I went a mixture of the different spectrum led configuration they offer and have been really happy with them.

Mounting the 20 led bars and drivers was interesting due to the weight but I got there in the end. I have them mounted on a sliding rail so I can access the tank easier.
