I am sorry this happened and don't intend to minimize the event but ,.....as a father whose only child recently moved out this is a little thing you both will laugh about one day. There will come a time you will wish you had a 3 year old to clean up after, believe it or not!:D

I hope for the best with your tank, now go hug your little one.:)

And that's why I don't have kids

hahaha sorry had to, you set yourself up for that one lol I think a lid and lock would work great....on the crib of course

:)
Did you ask "why did you do that honey?"?
Might have a good reason or another cute answer :)

Kids love to imitate what they see, although they sometimes they don't get it right. My uncle had an automotive body shop ,...when I was about 3 I decided to help him sand a car. The problem was it was one he had just painted! He ended up having to repaint the car and to this day loves to tell this story.:)

Oh wow... My tanks are tall enough I hope that doesn't happen! I need to lock the cabinets!! I also have canopies on all four of my tanks I hope shields me. Sorry buddy!

Be careful what you wish for! Lots of us grandparents are inheriting our grandkids. Love them to death, BUT, believe me, it's MUCH harder the second time around......I've had my grandson since the day he came home from the hospital. He's 4 now. He does love the tanks, and has his own Regal angel and starfish.

Oh man that stinks!luckily everything seems ok, like some have said this will be a great story to laugh about years down the road. It could even be a embarrassing story to share publicly at his wedding one day hahaha

When my son was 3, I came downstairs and he was staring at me while standing in my 90 rimless. The water was up to waist and I think he was trying to think of how he was going to get out. He climbed on the window ledge next to the tank. I really regret not taking a picture...

Good stories. Becoming a pretty cool thread I must say

Hmmm....maybe this would work against Dino's--there's a whole lotta Dino eradication threads going on right now...you could call the the "Kitchen Sink Method"

My wife heard me laughing. Then when i showed her the picture she went from "maybe we should wait until the kids are like 10" to "do they make like something you can put on top of it and lock to keep the kids out" in about a minute. I just said it will be so tall there's no way they can reach it until they're old enough to know better :)

This reminds when my daughter was learning to walk, I had a open sump she turned the valve on the protein skimmer and flooded our living room, luckily this was just a fish only tank just before I started my reef tank . She is now 22 and we still have a good laugh about it.
