Hi, 1st time in these live sales!

Hey welcome to Reef2Reef!!

Best live sale tip is to not get discouraged! The prices are typically very good and there is a lot of competition. You will have better luck later in the night when less people are trying to buy.

But if you keep trying you will get stuff!

Remember you have to check out right away with an item you want it won't save just cause you put it in your cart!

Welcome to Reef2Reef!!! Every live sale is different and every company handles their live sales differently. The following WWC video is connected to a past live sale, but the tips will carry through to most live sales:

Good luck and enjoy!

Any experienced, personal tips (other than the ones in the video provided) anyone recommend for 1st timers?
While many are structured differently- One thing is certain:
Register PRIOR to the auction, buy a shipping module right away before auction which often qualifies you tio win a prize. If you buy nothing- you get a refund for shipping module

PAY FOR EACH CORAL AS YOU WIN BID OR YOU'LL LOSE THE CORAL

Welcome! +1 to what everyone else said. Just remember you won't win every coral you try for. Computers are usually faster than phones. Save your payment info if you can. Pay attention to the rules.

Best advice I can give is engage! Live sales are more fun if you hang out and enjoy the company!

Welcome to Reef2Reef! I second this, also set a budget/number of pieces you want or you'll quickly go over it. A lot of live sales will also have end of sale discounts that are even more than during the sale.

Do not be a victim of FOMO. If you miss a coral that you really liked, there will be another live sale next week where you might find that coral. If you really want that coral, wait for the after sale.

This is probably not a popular opinion with the vendors.

Set a budget ahead of time. It's really hard to keep track of spending since each purchase is separate. I've only done one sale so far but next time I will make a spreadsheet so I can see more clearly how much I've spent and what I've already gotten.

Oh, and if you don't know much about the type of coral, look it up in another tab. You might miss out on that piece but that's better than buying a coral that is really difficult. Most of the corals will come up more than once.
