Hi eeverybody

My name is Jennifer and i am in Lawrenceville va.
So its been 10 years since i had a saltwater tank and a few months ago someone gave me one that was not taken care of. You couldnt see anything in the tank the water was so green and everything was covered in hair algae. Well ive gotten everything situated now and it looks so much better. But there is a type of macro algae i cant get under control. It is a 20 gal and i am planning on upping to to a 40. But im not sure how to make the sump. I need more rock also.
Ive got:
2 clown fish
A lawnmower blenny
A cleaner shrimp
A decorator crab
A sea urchin
Then a few soft corals
Any advice or help is more then appreciated

macro help keep under control by hand not really a bad thing keeps bad algae down,urchin will help too

Welcome... you can get a 40g at a Petco sale, and make the 20 into a sump

Howdy, and welcome to R2R. Besides the good advice to remove by hand and adding an urchin, you may want to start looking at the mysteries of water quality. It adds a whole new dimension to our hobby.
